Method Sound sample created For each single harmonic configuration, eight synthesised sounds were produced and a sample of 48 single sounds in total was created. Below, the eight sound series are listed. Each series of synthesised sounds is preceded with the natural reference sound. Series 1: Natural sound of /e/ produced by a women at fo of c. 220 Hz, and resynthesis based on the extracted harmonic configuration and H1 attenuation. > Sounds Series 2: Natural sound of /e/ produced by a women at fo of c. 250 Hz, and resynthesis based on the extracted harmonic configuration and H1 attenuation. > Sounds Series 3: Natural sound of /ø/produced by a women at fo of c. 220 Hz, and resynthesis based on the extracted harmonic configuration and H1 attenuation. > Sounds Series 4: Natural sound of /ø/produced by a women at fo of c. 220 Hz, and resynthesis based on the extracted harmonic configuration and H1 attenuation. > Sounds Series 5: Natural sound of /o/produced by a women at fo of c. 220 Hz, and resynthesis based on the extracted harmonic configuration and H1 attenuation. > Sounds Series 6: Natural sound of /o/produced by a women at fo of c. 220 Hz, and resynthesis based on the extracted harmonic configuration and H1 attenuation. > Sounds |
